Efforts is naught, in this game that i never win

I always want to win, even if i know i cant.
I will try so hard that i break a bone, sprain an ankle, kill myself.
Just to win.
I will not settle for anything lesser than victory.
So long i lock dead on my target.

I will put in all my efforts, all my strength, all my time and everything else.
Hoping for success.
But in this game,
it just doesnt mean being better gives u an edge.
it just doesnt mean putting more effort gives u an advantage.
it just doesnnt mean whatever you do, will even help u a little bit.

so long the key element isnt here.
