Petition against high transportation fee for poly students

Recently when i was clearing up my facebook, i noticed that i joined a facebook group by the name of petition against high transportation fee for poly students.

i went in to read on what the people in the group have to say about the issue. Instead,i saw a group of people flaming a poor guy, cursing him and his entire family. it is so typical of singapore youngster to do that and im actually guilty of it during gaming -.-
but what i have to say is that, arguing over the internet is like running a special olympic, even if you win, you are still retarded =x

okie, back to the topic, as i was one of their member, im supposed to support the cause. However, maybe its because im no longer affected, i find it retarded to support the cause.

the poly students compared themselves to the JC and ITE students.
Some people say that coz ur dumb and u cant get into jc, you are whining here about the expensive bus fares. but the poly students rebutted that they CHOSE to go poly.
So here is my response:
if u CHOSE to go poly, deal with the rising bus fares yourselves.
and as the examples stated above, jc and ite students are wearing UNIFORMS. Poly students do not need to wear them. so as students who are NOT wearing uniforms, we are treated as young adults. so quit whining about the ADULT PRICE you are paying for your transport.

if poly students are given the benefit of student transport fees, the universities would also be asking for such priviledge too. Soon, even the NSF would want such cheaper bus fares.

If thats the case, basically everyone other than people working would all have 45cents travel fees. So how SBS earn moneY?

people who started this petition are people who only think of their self interest.
they did not think of the complications it would bring about. Poly is the eqivilent of university in some countries and i therefore think it is fair to be charged for adult fare. you guys want people to treat you like young adult, yet you still want advantages of students in uniform. i think it is only fair that unless poly students agree to uniforms, then the bus fare should be of student price. IF NOT, if u give poly student the 45cent priviledge, you should give university student such priviledge too =]
