update for the sake of it

its time to update this blog.
coz im being too lazy to maintain a blog that no one goes and see..

bah.

heres a funny analogy.

it is said that 2 good long time friends will not fall in love with each other.

but if from a start, they didnt begin with just being friend?
will time change this facT?
or will they eventually land up togetheR?

Meiji factory sales.

okay, i went to 36 quality road by taking 246 from boon lay mrt station.. its about 4stops away and u can see the big big factory of meiji.

BUT
the things there are not cheap(apart from budget corner, which is totally wiped by the time i reached there @1.30pm(operating hours 12-3pm)

yes, there is 20% discount, but things like the tube choco is marked up at $5.65 each(before 20%) while ntuc xtra sells at $4.50!!
so its almost the same..

as for yan yan, its $0.80(after 20%), which is only about 10-20c cheaper den outside!! (fyi, cab there from amk is about $18,bus + train there is about $2 )

Hello panda sells @ a box fer almost $13(before 20%), and one box have 24 packs. assuming each pack at retail is 60c, its just like buy 20 free 4 -.-

so my conclusion is that the things there is not VERY cheap, despite the 20% due to marked up prices.

HOWEVER
there are quite a few products there cant be EASILY found off the shelf.
im not sure if they are not in stores of sg, or if they are only is certain higher end stores, or is it EXCLUSIVE to meiji factory outlet.
they are also not cheap (imagine a pack of grapes gummy costing $4.20 before discount (ps: want want grape gummy costs only 90c @ shengshiong))

ALL IN ALL,
its a fun experience there, with so many meiji products to choose from, and despite being a bit disapointed with the price(coz ppl have been saying it is damn cheap there and its a sales that couldnt be missed), im still glad i made the trip. coz meiji produces excellent and tasty tit bits!!

bah... im gonna be fat... FML
